Paragon Steel was contacted by 30th Street Architects to build a stainless steel truss that could be secured into the five story sanctuary dome where a 4" crack traversed through 42" thick stone and was threatening to split it into two parts. The truss system was the crowning touch to secure the dome to the anchored walls.
July 9th the installation of the truss was made by Pointe Construction. With the use of steel pins, the walls would lock togethere and eliminate the "shear" effect and any further detorioration.
