Los Angeles, Calif—Just north of Downtown, along the Los Angeles River sits the historical site of Taylor Yard. The State of California acquired a portion of this land to establish the first new state park opened in L.A. in a generation. With its completion, it will now span over 100 acres and 2 miles of riverfront to become the centerpiece of the Los Angeles River Greenway.

This architecturally driven structure used pipe and plate elements to achieve its effect.
